Lentomitella like, aseptate?
Tomaz Vucko, 15-02-2026 04:32
Tomaz VuckoOne more specimen that is giving me some descent ammount of thinking.
Found on semi-decayed Quercus stick among Vexillomyces (related to the other post). Ascospores seem to be aseptate(or perhaps immature??), hyaline. Content inside cut perithecia also looks hyaline/white. Perithecia tomentose. (IKI-, CR+ I think) 11.2.2026, Slovenia.

Ascospore measurements in asci:
(5.4) 6.2 - 7.2 (8.1) × (2.9) 3.3 - 3.9 (4.1) µm
Q = (1.5) 1.6 - 2.1 (2.7) ; N = 50
Me = 6.7 × 3.6 µm ; Qe = 1.9

Would somone perhaps have a suggestion?

Hi Tomaz, a good work again, it's a pleasure to help you.
I don't have much time to look into the matter, but I remember that there is a similar genus with non-striated spores that can be aseptate: Spadicioides genus, which might be worth investigating.
But it lacks a bit maturity.
Good research !

Check this paper:
