Karstenia chrysophaea? - from Portugal
Lothar Krieglsteiner,

... on twig attached to small tree of Citrus aurantius, together with Clonostachys ralfsii (det. A. Gardienet). As the few apothecia (only seen after water-addition) were growing in an algal mat they could well be lichenised (without having evidence for this).
I think it must be a Karstenia and I do not find a better species than chrysophaea.
The spores have up to 11 septa and are about 40-55/3,5-4,5 µm large, with both ends pointed.
Who can help?
Best regards, Lothar

This may well be a Karstenia, but I would like to see the periphysoids on the inner margin. The apos are small, but only a median section would show them. Examples of sections with periphysoids are many in my Karstenia folder.

The ascospores appear distinctly halonate on some photos - this could be what lichenologists used to call Ramonia subsphaeroides (Tav.) Vezda which should have spore sizes of more or less of the same size as Karstenia chrysophaea auct.
see e.g. the photo of the species in the paper by Frisch et al. 2020

Hello Zotto,
thanks for your reply. I will not be easy to do this with the ramaining material but I will try.
The link to your site does not work any more at my laptop. Could you once again send the (new?) link?

Hello Zdenek,
thank you very much for your proposal that looks very good- I will try to compare more exactly. The "halo" of the spores was also noted by me.

I now think I see a thallus around the apos.
My website is still out of order. Here is the link to the ascos:
