Body is strongly tomentose, ~0,5mm diam, beak ~0,25mm long, asci 4-spored, sp. 20-24 x 15,7-16,5.
I used the key in Cannnon and Hawksworth (1982) but without success.

Re : Melanospora on Rubus
Hi Peter, I do not think so.
M.zamiae (syn.M.leucotricha) is different. Perithecia is glabrous to sparsely hairy, neck with a terminal ring of hyaline setae and widespread in the tropics.

Re : Melanospora on Rubus
Hello
I think Peter gives a good indication; F.Doveri describes Melanospora zamiae (FMBDS N ° 191 2008) with numerous hyphoid hairs in the lower part of the ascomas, whereas in the key of Cannon and Hawksworth, he did not mention it. Can be variability?
Michel.

Re : Melanospora on Rubus
Thanks Michel,
Perhaps you are right, I have no experience with this genus. Ok, we are waiting for another one opinion and searching further.
