In Epilobium
Marja Pennanen, 04-05-2010 16:11
These seems to come under the skin of Epolobium, they are 0,5 to 1 mm wide.

As you can see, it's been snowing here to day ;)

Re:In Epilobium
Asci are about 60-75x7-9 and spores 50x2 with cuttulas or septas.
Paraphyses are about 2-3 micrometers wide and septate.
These were not mature, but I checked the spore size from last years notes.
These may not be very common, but not rare neither.

Re:In Epilobium
Hello Gyu,

this is buried in the substrate and opens splitting the cover. I know nothing about Pirottaea, but they seems to grow on the substrate.

Anyway thans for an answer: Marja

Hello,
I think i've got to tell You a story :)
I first found these 5.6.2009. It had been raining and the wheather was very moist. I picked them.
Home I couldn't find anything there before I hydrated the specimen. When its dry, ithese hide under the surface of Epilobium. So I think, that this is not seen very often...

Faudrait faire un montage micro des "? poils" noirs à la marge des fructifications.

Bonjour,
je trouve que ça ressemble à Naemacyclus caulium, même si cette espèce est sensée pousser sur Urtica...

Merci Pascal,

it really seems to be Naemacyclus caulium.
Once again representative of a genus new to me and the species possibly to Finland, too :)
