Ascocoryne?
Michel RIMBAUD, 22-09-2009 12:17
Hello.
Found on decayed wood of Betula. Disco diam 3mm sessile.
Spores are 0-2-septated. I think to Ascocoryne solitaria. Could somebody confirm ... or have another idea.
Thank you.
Michel

Hi Michel,

Ascocoryne seems OK for me. Sarcoides most probably though the lower right spore looks a bit multiseptate (pointing to cylichnium).
But did you check the yellow fellow in the upper right corner as well?

Cheers,

Martin

Re:Ascocoryne?
Thanh you Martin.
Most probably sarcoides (multiseptate spores and not furcated paraphysis). I hoped have discovered A.solitaria ... a bit desapointed.
The little yellow one is Orbilia xanthostigma.
Cheers.

Re:Ascocoryne?
Mistake, read "cylichnium".
