Hardware TonySmall clavate hairs, negative croziers and IKI bb suggested this species to me, as couldn't match this with any Mollisia and growing on the unuusal wood substrate of Tamarix perhaps also of interest. Referenced Otto's folders to get this far but perhaps missed something along the way!

with thanks

I am not sure with the absence of croziers and I am even unsure with the genus. It could be a Mollisia as well. You have no living paraphyses?

Hi Otto,

I have these which may help with the crozier and perhaps the paraphyses. If not I can go back and retry.  Reaction in KOH was an overall dark green context, but thought Mollisia 'green' was bright green.

The first new photo has a part of a paraphysis on the left which clearly contains VBs. And on the very right I see a crozier.

So clearly a Mollisia.

OK, thanks Otto, wasn't confident in both cases. I'll start again with the right Genus!
