Hymenoscyphus with a reddish stipe
Francois Guay, 04-10-2025 02:13
Francois GuayHi everyone,

I found this Hymenoscyphus growing on a leaf petiole. It has a reddish stipe. Has anyone ever seen something like this before?

Spores: 19.4–21.6 × 4.3–4.7 µm

Asci: IKI+

Thanks!

The yellow disc due to yellow VBs sounds unusual but otherwise this may fall in the H. caudatus aggregate.
