Do you have some idea that help me with this non-stromatic pseudotecia up to 0.2 mm in diam. inmersed on stems of an Equisetum species? The ascospores are hyaline at first, but pale brownish with age, with the lower cell narrower than the upper one.Many thanks in advance.

Does those spores have a sheath? If so, this is perhaps Lophiostoma amphibium (Magnes & Hafellner) Aptroot & K.D. Hyde.

And also to Bernard, although having read the description of Massarina amphibia, I don't think it can be this species with hyaline spores surrounded by a compact gelatinous sheath.

The size of the spores is larger but this looks very like the image here. I got the name from Holm & Holm "Nordic equiseticolous Pyrenomycetes". They give "Spores sub- fusiform, (12-)16-18 x 4-5 µm" . . .

I had considered that possibility, but the spores of that Didymella are described as hyaline and not brunnescent as in my collection. And the host, although this is quite irrelevant, was not Equisetum silvaticum but E. telmateia.
Finally, I think this collection could be close to Scheuer's concept of Massarina pusillispora, although Massarina is also a genus with hyaline spores. These genera are really complex.
Anyway thank you very much for your opinion.
