Hello,

Found yesterday on Tilia.

Are there two kinds of the anamorph or is this just variation?

In Microfungi on Land Plants: pag. 261 conidia 13-18 x 7-8 µm, fig. 1174 conidia with large guttules

Hello,
did you notice any gel sheath around the first (subglobose) conidia? It looks a bit like immature Neomelanconium gelatosporum.

Hello Viktorie,

It took a while, but yesterday on Tilia.

No gel sheaths in Indian ink.

I read the pages 1347,1348 and 1349 in this article

Mycosphaerangium and Neomelanconium (Cenangiaceae) are closest relatives: phylogenetic relationships, morphology and a new species

November 2020 Mycological Progress 19(11):1329-1352
