Hi Sigrid,
likely a Splanchnonemma. You should look into Barr (1982): On the Pleomassariaceae in North America, Mycotaxon 15: 3493-383.
Identifying the host is very helpful to ID the fungus, most of them are host-specific. Could your sample be on a Tilia branch?

I think you're right. Thank you very much. Now that I look at the substrate it does look like Tilia cordata.

Yes, It's Tilia : on photos we can see typical parenchymatous fibers of Tilia.
and so it's Splanchnonema ampullaceum.
