Bonjour,

On a twig of a shrub (probably ornamental). Spores 22-33 x 2-3,8 µm. Seems to be T. sulphurea usually on nettle ?

Thanks in advance.

Re : Trichopeziza sulphurea
Bonjour Patrice

indeed this looks like T. sulphurea. Indeed I have this species by 95% on Urtica and the rest on other herbs. Did you try to look at the wood anatomy? A simple break of the rotten wood might be enough: any central pith, how look the pores?

Did you check ascus IKI reaction and croziers?

Zotto

Re : Trichopeziza sulphurea
You are right Zotto, an other "big" herb. Here are too IKI and ascus.

Re : Trichopeziza sulphurea
o.k., so asci simple-septate and apex amyloid (it should turn red at high concentration, if your Lugol allows that.
