Que pensez-vous de cette récolte d'Ascocoryne sur tronc mort de saule blanc ?

J'ai observé une protubérance à la base d'un asque. Est-ce que c'est suffisant pour en faire Ascocoryne cylichnium var. deuncinata ?

there is actually some evidence that samples without croziers (but with basal protuberances) belong to another species. Adam Polhorský observed an anamorph similar as in A. solitaria, but with narrower phialides though also containing crystalloid SCBs (see my folder).

If you tell me the collection data I wil add them to your find.

Just found my drawing HB 6791 misplaced in cylichnium, now it is in the corret folder.

After sending me further pics of this sample, with ascus bases which partly show protuberances and partly true croziers, I doubt my identification. In any case, I cannot remember that I saw such variation in a single apothecium.

J'ai retrouvé un petit morceau d'apothécie et ai revérifié la base des asques. En fait, on y voit clairement des crochets mais aussi (et rarement) des protubérances à la base.
