Buckwheat PeteHello, I'd like to ask about this older specimen:
This was collected 14.11.19, in National Park Efel, Germany, too. Grew on hanging twig of Ilex aquifolium in about 2.30 m height.
With the keys I come to epiphyllum, but I find it a bit atypical and never saw it growing "in the air".
The spores are about 16.-19/4,5-5,5 µm, and the paraphyses are full of guttules. The asci are IKI euamyloid and bear croziers.
Is it epiphyllum- or not?

also die Sporen sind doch scutuloid, das sieht man sehr deutlich, oben die Nase.
Spontan würde ich H. subferrugineum sagen. Menst du die Apos sind trockentolerant? Oder ist es da sehr luftfeucht?
Für den würde ich gerne die Funddaten notieren (für meinen Artikel).

vielen Dank! Mir kamen die Sporen überwiegend nicht so scutuloid (vgl. z.B. das zweite Sporenbild) vor - ich muss aber zugeben, dass ich es hätte sehen müssen.
Funddaten: 14.11.2019, D, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Nationalpark Eifel, Umgebung der Naturwaldzelle "Im Brand", 521 m NN, GPS: N50°34'17.94" E6°21'27.87".
Es ist dort nicht sehr luftfeucht, sonst gab es (außer Exidia thuretiana) keine frischen Pilze an den hängenden Ästen. Ich bin recht sicher, dass die Pilze trockenresistent sind (sein müssen).

Je ne suis pas encore très instruit dans les divers mots techniques et je ne sais pas ce que veut dire "crozier" ?

Hallo Edmond,
"croziers" oder Haken sind Strukturen an der Basis der Asci, die in etwa vergleichbar sind mit den Schnallen der Basidiomyceten. Ihre An- und Abwesenheit ist ein wichtiges Merkmal bei Ascomyceten, vor allem bei Helotiales.
Ich denke, man sieht einen Haken auf dem letzten Foto meiner Doku.
