Dear Nicolas, I have just seen that you use the name Trichophaea brunnea for Sphaerosporella hinnulea. But what is Trichophaea minuta (Cain) Korf? A synonym, since the spores are also round and with 13-17 microns also the same size. Unfortunately I do not have the original description. Does one have this article?

Cain R.F., Hastings N.A. 1956. Studies of soil fungi: II. A new species of Sphaerospora with a Botrytis-like stage. Canadian Journal of Botany, 34 (3): 360-376.

Thanks
