Could this be: Pestalotiopsis verruculosa?
François Bartholomeeusen, 12-11-2019 15:10
Hi forummembers,

On November 8, 2019, I took home 4 needles of Juniperus communis. Three were covered with swollen, black apothecia of Lophodermium juniperinum, one had some faint black spots under the epidermis. Microscopy showed several conidia with up to three appendages at the apex and one at the base. This genus is completely unknown to me.

Searching on the internet I found a study of 2012 and taking into account the substrate I determined my find as: Pestalotiopsis verruculosa.
Would anyone be so kind as to confirm that?

Thank you very much in advance,

François Bartholomeeusen
