a friend had send me an interesting fungus on Brugmansia sp.
This red Bubbles contain a large number of conidia, that produce conidia too.
I don't found conidiogeous cells, only the conidias.
No idea, what that fungus could be.
Any ideas ?
best regards,
Thorben

Re : Red Bubbles on Brugmansia sp.
I think that to have any chance for a determination from morphology you really need to find and characterize the conidiogenous cells. If there is nothing of the sort - perhaps then you have a yeast?

Hi Jason,
i think you are right with yeast.
Few days ago i made my first culture and the result was the same, that i see no conidiogenous cells.
