Nitschkia broomeana?
Ethan Crenson, 06-02-2017 06:44
In Brooklyn, NYC on hardwood, possibly Fagus.  Individual bodies are .5 mm or smaller, black rough-textured spheroid. Clustering together in small groups.  Asci are 125-160um by 16 - 24 um.  Definitely polysporous, probably with more than 200 spores per ascus.  I cannot see the herringbone pattern that is associated with  N. broomeana.  Spores allantoid with oil droplets at both ends. 8 - 10.5um by 1.5 - 2.4 um.  Is this Nitschkia broomeana or is it possible that it is another species in Nitschkia?

Re : Nitschkia broomeana?
Ceci semble convenir pour Nitschkia broomeana, dans ce genre il semble n'y avoir que cette espèce à asques polysporés.
