Syllabus of Plant Families, Ascomycota
Hans-Otto Baral, 16-02-2016 17:22
Hans-Otto BaralDear all

I want here to draw you attention to the very recently appeared survey on ascomycete families. It is a compilation of all presently known families and accepted genera of both non-lichenised and lichenised groups. The book does not contain any keys, but it provides a description of the relevant characters of each family for both teleo- and anamorph, and a list of included genera, usually followed by a short discussion with literature references.
16 colour plates were included to show the macroscopy of some selected genera.

It is a part of the new edition of Engler's Syllabus of Plant Families which appeared the last time in 1954.

The book can either be orderd from the publisher (119 € + postage) or in a book store.
The authors will benefit to a small part from the sale.
