On Cytisus
Yannick Mourgues, 10-01-2016 13:35

Hi Yannick,

probably a Nitschkia. Here you can find a key to that genus: http://www.mycologia.org/content/96/4/911.full.pdf

Best wishes,
Gernot

Hi Yannick,

why not N. broomeana (= Fracchiaea broomeana)?

regards
Gernot Friebes, 10-01-2016 17:23
Re : On Cytisus
N. broomeana should have 200+ ascospores per ascus. Yannick mentions 32 or 64 spores although it does look like there could be more spores in the ascus on the fourth photo.

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : On Cytisus
Thank's again Gernot !
N. broomeiana seems to have more than 200 spores. So I don't think it's this specie Björn.

Re : On Cytisus
Yes Gernot.
In many asci I have counted about thirty spores, But in this ascus, I think it's Around 64.

Re : On Cytisus
In this key, I have seen that two species could match: N. pilosa and N. variabilis (This second one only described from Argentina).
My preference is the first one but I have to check if it's hairy or not. But I don't remember seeing ... To be continued.

No... no hairs. Ans only known from Argentina too...
