Mick PeerdemanHi all,One of my earliest microscopy attempts, so
Ascomyceto encontrado en madera descortezada de quercus rubra.
He mirado por Mollisias , Cistellas etc... por el tipo de esporas, pero no llego a nada.
Alguna idea. Gracias.
Hi
Ascomyceto found in quercus rubra debarked wood.
I've looked for Mollisias, Cistellas etc... by the type of spores, but do not get anything.
Any idea. Thank you.
this must be Chlorosplenium chlora.
Splendid fungus, reminiscent of Mollisia but probably not closely related.
Please keep the material in dry state. It should be sequenced to find out its family relationship.

Very grateful.
We will do DNA
Thank you.
Tell me also please, did your fungus show a yellow KOH.reaction? I am not sure from your photo. I mean: was the medium stained yellow? And is the origin of that stain a solubility of the yellow ectal excipulum, or a reaction of the colourless VBs inside the paraphyses?
