Hi Luc,
very difficult corner... Your second collection with the big polar oildrops is what Ralph has here under Phomopsis pterophila.
Your first collection I don't have an idea. You might have seen my doc on what I called Neoseptophoma samara(o)rum so far? (Again different with very much smaller multiple oildrops). My determination follows Boerema et al. 2004. And just now I had another one on samaras of Fraxinus under the the microscope with conidia with again different features. I will show tomorrow.
Best regards
Martin

Re : Deux coelomycètes sur samares de Fraxinus
Hi Martin,
Yes, I checked your sample, but the conidia's are very different.
The first one could maybe be an Ascochyta (several ones are listed on Oleaseae), but I'll have to check closer. Especially, on my sample, a part of the conidia's isn't septate.
Cheers - LUC

Re : Deux coelomycètes sur samares de Fraxinus
Hi Luc,
here is the next one:
found on a samara of Fraxinus excelsior form. pedula in the courtyard of my office in Heidelberg, Germany two days ago. The conidia have this time a very granular content with a free central and circular space in the center that might represent the nucleus. Size is (10)-12-17x4-4.5 ´µm. The conidia are borne on relatively short conidiophores.

Re : Deux coelomycètes sur samares de Fraxinus
Hi Martin,
Again, something very different. I should definitely check what I find around, and look if I see something that matches. And again, another one that's limited on the seed.
I'm far, far from knowing all, I'm still a beginner with the coelomycetes and hyphomycetes.
Cheers - LUC.
