Possible Didymella sp. on Juncus effusus

I have found a sample of an immersed ascomycete with microscopy which seems to resemble that from the genus Didymella.
I have attached a photograph of the host with the immersed fruit bodies and an image of the microscopy.
From a key to Didymella in Mycotaxon 43:374, 1992 my sample seems to key out to Didymella glacialis in Carex, however I also notice that there is a D. glacialis var. juncicola mentioned in Annales Mycologici 15 (1-2): 106, 1917. The var. juncicola does not feature in the more recent Mycotaxon key.
I wonder if anyone has experience of this genus and could possibly advise me?
Thank you,
Best Wishes,
Peter.
