Unknown anamorph found on the ground in coastal sand dunes. The substrate is a very small, heavily rotted lump, possibly bird droppings or pellets, or plant remains.Does anyone have any ideas ?

Re : Unknown anamorph
Could the substrate be a rotten arthropod carcass? The structures remind me of anamorphic synnemata of some Cordyceps/ Ophiocordyceps species.
