Jelly anamorph with Fusarium like spores
Stip Helleman, 15-04-2016 22:51
Stip HellemanDear all,
this one I found on a last autumn fallen large branch of Quercus, all smaller branches and twigs were covered with it, probably arising from old Pyrenos but not sure
Spores are always 3 septate up to 40 mu long, consistence gelatinous
Does anyone has a idea about the genus or species or the Teleomorph connection
Thanks in advance,
Stip

Re : Jelly anamorph with Fusarium like spores
Hi Stip, for me it looks like an unripe Tremella globispora or something similar...
Best, Uwe

Re : Jelly anamorph with Fusarium like spores
... yes, the microscopical features are strange. Maybe a hyperparasite?
Best, Uwe

Re : Jelly anamorph with Fusarium like spores
Hi to all,
your specimens are clearly sporodochia of fusarium-like, asexual state of Nectriaceae.
Cheers,
Christian

Thanks a lot Christian, I will let you know what will become of it if there grows a teleomorph from.
