found 17.6.24, Italian Alps, on deciduous wood in rivulet. Macroscopically I was hesitating if it would be only L. ovina, but the perithecia looked a bit yellowish, so I took a specimen. When mounting in KOH I found the perithecia to stain yellow very strongly. The spores are lying parallel in the asci. The specimen was not best ripe, so I found free spores only late, when the slide was already a bit spoilt, so I do not have good spore fotos and exact measurements.
Maybe there is a hint before I try to re-examine the scanty herbarium specimen.
Best regards, Lothar

Maybe L. lanuginosa if you find more mature ascospores?
