Asco or not ?
Thierry Blondelle, 05-06-2023 21:48
Thierry BlondelleHi
This identification is problematic for me.
On a damp resinous branch
I couldn't show any asci, only what I think are spores and paraphyses
Also, I couldn't identify a suitable genus.
Thank you for your help

Re : Asco or not ?
Some heterobasidiomycete.
Dacrymyces sp., maybe.
Greetings,
Marek

Re : Asco or not ?
A Dacrymyces for sure. You should tell us if there are clamp connections at the septa, or possibly not. If not I would chose the very common D. stillatus.
Yours, Lothar

Thanks to both of you
For the clamp connections, I'll do a micro again and let you know.

Re : Asco or not ?
Hi,

A new micro confirms the absence of clamp connections.
Dacrymyces stillatus seems to me to be the most likely species
