Nitschkia on Prunus Padus.
Mirek Gryc, 08-04-2021 18:28
Hi
Small mushrooms but a big problem :)
This is the first species Nitschkia that I researched, so I lack experience.
A rich collection in ascomata so I devoted a large group to find a hair and subiculum. Despite many attempts, unfortunately, I have not found these elements.
Dimensions of spores are the most similar to Nitschkia modesta?
Nitschkia grevillei has a narrower spores.
Nitschkia pezizoidea has the most suitable spore sizes but ascomata not tuberculate.
Spores 1-septate (poorly visible):

(7.1) 7.5 - 9.7 (9.8) × (2.4) 2.5 - 2.9 (3.2) ?m
Q = (2.6) 2.7 - 3.5 (3.6); N = 15
Me = 8.5 × 2.7 ?m; QE = 3.1

9.73 2.80
9.19 2.54
8.83 2.89
8.53 2.91
9.77 2.68
7.29 2.73
7.68 2.81
8.14 2.75
7.47 2.89
9.49 3.21
8.08 2.52
8.30 2.37
9.68 2.84
9.02 2.87
7.06 2.35

Re : Nitschkia on Prunus Padus.
Hi Mirek
I propose you Tympanopsis confertula (= Nitschkia confertula).
Mirek Gryc, 08-04-2021 19:39
Re : Nitschkia on Prunus Padus.
Hi Enrique.
Actually, morphological features and some microscopic very similar but also too much discrepancies to recognize my collection for this species.
First of all, spores should be much wider.
Substrate also inadequate, I have not seen another fungus exchanged as a host.
Unfortunately, I have to check all the features more accurately.
Thank you
Mirek
