Re : Scutellinia
Hello Joseba,
I think the ornamentation is too large for anything from the crinita group. Perhaps something like S. colensoi? A better photo of the ornamentation (hemispherical or elongated warts or a network or what?) would help, ideally with freely ejected spores.

Re : Scutellinia
With such a network, size of hairs and its growth on wood, I would suggest S. pennsylvanica, although this species has usually more visible warts.

Re : Scutellinia
Hello Nicolas,

initially I thought about S. pennsylvanica, but the ornamentation here looks more rounded than truncate in side view, that's why I suggested colensoi. However I checked now my photos of pennsylvanica and indeed sometimes the warts look rounded too, although the vast majority is truncate.

Best,
Viktorie

Re : Scutellinia
Surprisingly enough I was also torn between these two species but the other finds I have seen of S pennsylvanica have had the ornamentation well beyond the spore edge unlike most of those shown here. I would still favour S colensoi.
