Ceratostomella spec.

Hello,
Found by Ronald Morsink on decayed wood (Fagus), 16-06-2019, The Netherlands.
Asci: 8-spored, 37.5 x 5.4 µm
Spore size: 4.3-4.6 x 1.3-1.7 µm
Could this be a Ceratostomella species or am I completely wrong?
Greetings,
Riet

Yes, perhaps Ceratostomella rostrata.

Thank you very much Alain!

Re : Ceratostomella spec.
At the risk of not being very helpful, I would think that is not a Ceratostomella, (Lentomitella sensu Reblova). I thought that Ceratostomella (Endoxyla sensu Munk) has septate ellipsoid, hyaline spores.
Of course, I am not sure, but thought I would comment, from my position of ignorance, if only to improve on my understanding of this entity with far too many name changes.

Hello Simon,
Saw this topic the day before yesterday:
Quote: " ... With Munk Endoxyla rostrata fits quite well but according to Réblová this species is a Ceratostomella, a genus with brown spores. ...."

Re : Ceratostomella spec.
Many thanks, Riet,
I have been struggling with these pyrenocarps, for some time and I still manage to lose track of things, despite frequently finding what I take to be L. cirrhosa.
Simon
