Do you recognize this conidium? Anything close to an ID would be helpful.It is from the guts of Lenax mirandus, a beetle species known only from New Zealand that has been collected from galleries of Platypodine weevils (some of the ones that grow fungal gardens).

Dear Andy,
I can imagin there are lots of hyphomycetes out there with conidia of similar shape being +-5-septate. One example is Microsporum.

Thank you, Martin. As you can imagine, trying to identify a fungus from a single conidium is difficult, but this is all we have from the beetle's stomach content!
