from Rubus-leaves I know a macro- and microscopic almost identical species - Echinula asteriadiformis Graddon - . Unfortunately I dispose for a moment of no documentation. Rubus and Filipendula are both Rosaceae.
Greetings Peter.
Edit: Auf der Website von H. O. B. sehe ich gerade eine Echinula "filipendulae", die mit Ihrem Fund identisch zu sein scheint (bei Hyaloscyphaceae).

Hello Zotto,
in 2013, I found an Echinula on Potentilla palustris in the EIfel National Park. I did not know there are different species and determined it as E. asteradiformis. Where do I find a key or a paper where further species (for instance E. filipendulae) and the differences to E. asteradiformis are published?
Best regards, Lothar
regrettably nothing is published. And the genus would need also molecular work to clarify where it belongs at all. I have a resinicolous species that I want to describe since maybe 20 years.
The three known species you find in my Hyaloscyphaceae folder.
Zotto
thank you!
Regards, Lothar
Bonjour,
Comme l'espèce était sur feuille de Filipendula, je n'ai pas fait le lien avec Echinula, merci pour votre aide.
Elisabeth
