Lasiosphaeria hirsuta

Hi, one question,
I found today Lasiosphaeria hirsuta on fruit bodies of Psilopezia nummularialis. Also, on a wood next to (Fagus silvatica).
I know that L.hirsuta grows on rotten wood, but I did not know that it can grow on other live fungi.
Whether it is common or not?

Re : Lasiosphaeria hirsuta
Not common, but does occur in about 5% of samples.  Lasiosphaeria hirsuta typically fruits in massive amounts of ascomata on rotten wood so the mycelium (and ascomata) grow over whatever substrate is near.

See 159 records for L. hirsuta here:  http://mycoportal.org
