Thorben Hülsewig, 27-02-2016 23:10
Hi there,
today i found under a rotten wood snaileggs with a fungus that i can't detemine.
This fungus has 6 ascospores in ascus and the reaction with Lugol is brown.
I hope you can help me.

Hi Thorben..

Nice pictures!  Did you collect the snail eggs in winter.  Pseudogymnoascus roseus grows well at low temperatures.  We have been finding it in caves with temperatures about 7°.
