Hi again Chris
Perhaps you have this other ?
Transactions of the Botanical Society of Edinburgh Volume 41, Issue 2, 1971. Some new records of ascomycetes from Scotland J.C. Krug.
I have a collection of a Sporormiella aff. borealis with smaller ascospores. 72-88 x 16 -22 and I'm looking for the variability of this species.
Thanks again
Are you sure you don't have S. megalospora ?
Chris
I think my collection does not belong to megalospora bcause the second cell of the ascospore is broader and the fragment are not easily separable. Only the ascospore size, smaller, does not fit with borealis.
What do you think?
