Re : Verpa 9253
Je pense qu'il s'agit de Verpa conica. (O.Müller:Fr.) Sw. J'ai trouvé également un exemplaire dans les dunes sous Fraxinus excelcior.

Sometimes the name Verpa krombholzii is used for similar collections, see here for example: http://www.fungoceva.it/tav_verpa_krombholzii.htm or here: http://www.micologiaiberica.com/viewtopic.php?t=14204.

Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Verpa 9253

Never understood what should be the difference between V. conica and V. krombholzii. The red granules and fibrils on the stipe surface are always present. When the stipe is short they are more dense and the whole surface is red, when the stipe elongate the red is very diluted on the surface.
