Mollisia sp. from Menyanthes litter in the bog.
Nina Filippova, 20-06-2014 16:39
There are many Mollisia's in my collection from the bog litter, but most of them are underidentified. Probably i could assign them to some approximate species/species complexes, with your help.

This one coomonly met on dead leaves of Menyanthes trifoliata.

Coordinates: N60,891942° E68,681502°, 20.06.2014.

Apothecia sessile, relatively thick, hymenium dark gray, outside dark brown, up to 0.7 mm in diameter.

Excipulum from round cells, 11-15 mk at base, 6-10 mk in upper part, cells of several rows at the edge filled with greenish vacuoles, cells at the edge short-clavate, about 11 x 5 mk; asci with weak crozier, 47-61 x 5.6-6.5 mk; paraphyses cylindrical, upper part filled with many small greenish vacuoles, soon collapsing into single one, no clear change of color under KOH treatment; spores fusoid, with obtuse ends, slightly heteropolar, 9.7 (8.4-12.4) x 2 (1.8-2.6) mk (n=20).
