I have taken up the vevision of Niesslia again with molecular assistance by Benjamin Stielow at CBS and am interested in specimens on various substrates that allow isolation in culture. The identity of N. exilis found on pine needles is still not sufficiently clear (isolates available so far are divergent). Therefore I would particularly appreciate receiving material of this species. You will recogniize the dark perithecia by pointed dark spines and the tendency to collapse disc-shaped on drying.Thanks in advance Walter Gams, Molenweg 15, NL-3743CK Baarn
