Pseudotrichia viburnicola - Update
Martin Bemmann, 26-05-2013 17:21
Martin BemmannHi todos...

two years ago I compiled all the finds of Pseudotrichia viburnicola. Since then we have now 4 new collections:
it was Stip Helleman to find one during MellAsco 2011 in Le Bois de Sairé on Hedera helix: http://mycokeymycelium.blogspot.de/2011/05/mellasco-1-pseudotrichia-viburnicola.html
next was Enrique Rubio who found it in Serín, Gijón, Asturias, Spain 13IV2012 on ?:
http://www.asturnatura.com/especie/pseudotrichia-viburnicola.html
then a find of Thierry Duchemin in Trouville, Normandy on Clematis connecting those geographically from southern England: http://www.ascofrance.fr/search_recolte/3412

And some days ago I found it in my mothers garden in Bonn, Germany where we enjoyed some Pentecôte holiday. It grew there on a dead twig (on the ground) of most probably Rosmarinus (some pictures attached, an updated map of distribution as well).
I wish all of you who will meet in Somiedo a fruitfull and friendly foray which I sadly cannot join.

New Spanish records of Ps.v. are welcome... ;-)

Best regards

Martin

Hi Martin,
I have a collection determined by Zotto (photos on the DVD), but I think that it corresponds to the number 9 of the map ?
Kind regards, Guy

Hi Michel,

thank you for your additional documentation! The first picture is in IKI, isn't it?
I wonder why Ps.v. covers such a wide range of hosts while being restricted to certain regions only, distributionwise.

Regards

Martin

Re : Pseudotrichia viburnicola - Update
Amicalement

Re : Pseudotrichia viburnicola - Update
Hello Martin,

Are you still adding to your compiled list of finds of Pseudotrichia viburnicola and their hosts?

If so, I can provide collection data and images of a find in the English Midlands today.

Your map on this forum post would need to extend a bit further north to cover my record, though.

With Best Wishes,
Peter.
