Yesterday I found between hundreds of Ascobolus Albidus a small asco. It was 1mm and has round? asci with probably 16spores? These asci had a diam of 20µm. Next to these big ones I also found smaller (younger, undevelloped?) spores with a diam of 11µm. Can anybody help me with this?

Hallo Bernard,
Thank you for the hint. You mean gymnoascus alatosporus? I found on the net that they are 9 species of Gymnoascus. Do you have by any chance a key of this genera to be 100% sure or is further investigation not necessary.
Rgards,
Ralph
