Björn WergenHi again,

between Radulomyces confluens, Mollisia aff. cinerea and Coniochaeta pulveracea I have found a small, 0,1-0,3 mm broad discomycetes on decorticated Quercus-wood. I just need to have some experience with this small species, so I tried to make some good pictures, and I hope you can see something on them, perhaps the correct specimen ;)

The fruitbodies have distinct hairs, which are mostly clustered together. The hairs are about 70-90x4-5µm and have yellow apices as you can see it in the photos. Asci tips have low reaction in Melzer (pale blue).

If more information is needed, I will try to take some more photos.

regards and thanks,
björn

Re : inoperculate Discomycetes
It is barbata time :-)

Hairs have glassy apices, and we had this species just a few days ago... :-)

Protounguicularia barbata = Olla transiens.
