these grow on Vaccinium uliginosum (and Betula) leaves and are 0,5-1mm wide.

What does IKI red mean, did you see an apical ring staining red? What shape? hymenoscyphus or calycina?

That's quite good, and clearly hemiamyloid. Could be Hymenoscyphus type, and then I remember only Hymenosc. carpinicola on leaves or fruits of Carpinus, which has a hemiamyloid ring. Maybe this has a wider host range. - Oh yes, when I look in my database of finds I saw there are,. besides Carpinus, also Vaccinium, Fagus and Acer leaves! So I am sure you have that species.

an interesting new species for me :)
These ascomycetes are very adaptable to different substrates. Caprinus (and many other southern species) don't grow up here naturally, but many ascos, that can be met souther, luckily grow :)
