Peziza labessiana?
William Slosse,

Good evening every one,On 07/01/2022 I found a growing place of nine Pezizas in the garden.
The fruit bodies grew on bare sandy humous soil at the foot of some old clumps of Zantedeschia aethiopica with lots of rotting leaves. Soil not fertilized in 20 years.
Description:
Macroscopic:
- ø largest specimen 36mm
- brown with a slight violet tinge
- excipulum decorated with dark warts
- sessile
- apothecia without colored latex
- not natrophilic (on sodium-rich soil)
Microscopic (all images in water):
- basidia: J+; no croziers; unilateral; 8-spored
- paraphyses: normal cylindrical with slightly capitate apex; without pigment
- spores:
° covered with coarse warts, largest warts around the poles, not forming a reticulate pattern
° without polar apicules
° clearly 2-guttulated
° Av(13) = (16.94) 15.98 (14.72) x (9.64) 8.83 (7.94) µm
° Q = 2.01 – 1.70 µm
° Qav(13) = 1.80 µm
° warts (polar): 1.55 – 0.91 µm
With this data I come out on Peziza labessiana.
Can the experts confirm this?
Sincerely,
William

Re : Peziza labessiana?
It sounds good for Phylloscypha labessiana. The colour of apothecia may vary from red-brown to violet.
You should use cotton blue to highlight the spore ornamentation.
Note also that "no croziers" is wrong, your picture showing an ascus base proves there are croziers.

Re : Peziza labessiana?
Perfect. This shows the isolated and rounded warts.
