Hymenoscyphus eichleri?
Gernot Friebes, 29-08-2009 23:49
Hi again,

here I have a Hymenoscyphus-species which seems to fit very well with the description of Hymenoscyphus eichleri on Zotto‘s DVD. I grew on wet wood of Picea. What do you mean, does H. eichleri fit with my find?

Best wishes,

Gernot

P...paraphyses (up to 3 µm wide)
S...spores (mostly 2-celled, 12-16 x 6-7 µm; mark the spore which is producing conidia; I did not see a sheath around the spores)

Hi Gernot

this is surely H. eichleri Bres., yes. Did you find it in a montaneous site? Pachydisca pilatii Svrcek is a synonym.
