We found this collection on deciduous wood on 7-2-2026.
As we were unable to find a suitable genus for this collection we asked Stip Helleman, who thinks it could be "Patinella sanguineoatra" like and sees similarities with this observation:
http://www.ascofrance.com/search_forum/83849
Adam Polhorský has confirmed that it is the same species, he thinks the brown "spores" in the excipulum may be the anamorph of this species.
It will be sequenced.

Disc:
The discs are sessile, cup-shaped, with whitish hairs on the edge, the underside is dark in color, and the hymenium is yellow-green in color.
In KOH the excipulum discolors brownish, photo 13.

Structure:
Strange textura globosa, brown

Hairs:
Incrusted.
The incrustation disappears in KOH.

Asci:
Measured in water: 64.5 - 74.79 (74.8) × (8.9) 8.93 - 10.18 (10.2) µm, Q = (6.9) 6.93 - 7.3
Lugol neg and croziers +

Paraphyses:
Cylindrical with septum, branched.

Spores:
Hyaline, with two "spots" of guttules.
Measured in water:
(12.5) 13.4 - 15.69 (15.7) × (3.9) 4.2 - 5 (5.1) µm, Q = (2.9) 3 - 3.5 (3.6)

Kind regards, Geert&Margot
