On Metzgeria furcata I found hundreds of small white-yellow discs less than 1 mm in size. The discs also appeared on other mosses in the area. The disc is fairly hard, there are almost exclusively paraphyses that are capitate and septed. Ascen are difficult to find. There is no reaction with Lugol and Melzers. Does anyone have an idea? Re : White - Yellow discs on Metzgeria furcata
Die Paraphysen sprechen für eine Flechte: Dimerella bzw. jetzt Coenogonium.
