Stilbella? on Myxarium - Denmark
Karen Poulsen, 13-04-2024 17:39
Hi,

On Myxarium on the cutting surface of tall stump during decomposition. After 3 weeks damp i fridge.

Black chimney-like with white to greyish globular head with conidial mass, approx. 175 µm high and 50-100 µm diam. Conidia hyaline, 4-5 x 1.5 µm. In addition, there are other spores which must be from the host M. hyalinum (few septa, 12-13.5 x 4-5 µm). Conidia and spores both appear to emanate from the white head.

Best regards,

Karen P.
