Re : Discinella? On soil
Oh these are dead spores and asci. Could it be a lichen? Too black for a Discinella.

Lichens are also ascos and sometimes difficult to separate. The iodine reaction s actually so faint? Enough iodine applied to remove the KOH?
The greyish crust around could perhaps be a thallus, but I may be wrong.

Re : Discinella? lichen? On soil
Nice collection, it is most likely this undescribed Sarcoleotia species that we know from several collections from the Alps and Scotland: https://photos.app.goo.gl/g5aCPKAh8ZssW37s5
The spore size roughly corresponds and the relatively faint reaction with Lugol as well as the habitat are also typical (the stipe is often very short and indistinct). It would be interesting to sequence the collection if you still have some material left.

Dear Lukas,
Very interseting! and nice pictures you added.
I saw it on several places in this area but only did one collection of it.
It sometimes grow quite near sarcoleotia globosa.
It is 11 apothecia left. So i could send it this week.
I add a habitat image for this collection.
