Dear friends,I have another one, of which I do not know where to put it, looks somewhat similar to Aivenia but has IKI- asci and quite long spores.
On resin of Picea abies, attached twigs, Tannengrund, 19.11.23.
spores 48.3 - 52.6 × 2.4 - 2.58 (2.6) µm, with 3(5) septations.
Asci without croziers (?), IKI-.
fruitbodies approx. 105 - 128 µm diam., without stipe, somewhat reduced to asci and paraphyses.

Re : unknown discomycete on resin of Picea abies
This could be our Claussenomyces hyalinus, which I now have in the Resinomyces folder. Are you sure the spores do not finally get 7-septate as in the two finds in my folder? One is by Joey Tanney on Pseudotsuga resin (with DIC), the other found by Guy in Luxembourg on Larix resin. Also Getnot Friebes presented a collection which I failed to download.

Re : unknown discomycete on resin of Picea abies
Well lets say, I would not exclude the spores having more than 5 septations by aging.

Re : unknown discomycete on resin of Picea abies
Need to add that from the photo by Joey I feel that the spores may be already 7-septate inside the living asci. In yours I feel that 5-septate spores may occur in living asci, but this is hardly to be seen with certainty.
