Récolté en juin 2023 à Méaudre (38), alt. 1000 m, sur des branchettes mortes de Betula pendula Roth. encore rattachées à l'arbre.
Acervules noirs; dispersés, jusqu'à 0,5 mm de haut, érumpant de l'écorce.
Conidies muriformes, 47,5-60 x 18-25 µm.
Je pense à Myxocyclus polycistis (Berk. & Broome)Sacc. [Pleomassariaceae]
Est-il possible de confirmer, ou d'infirmer cette détermination ?

I agree with Myxocyclus - image 7 shows how the (difficult to see) gel sheaths around the conidia keep them apart.
In fact you have two different fungi there - the first two images show rather poor examples of the asexual stage of Pleomassaria siparia, another Betula species -see attached image.

I'm right there with Chris. Your last pics show Myxocyclus polycistis, the anamorph of Splanchnonema argus. I found it sometimes. Here is a collage and a photo from one of my last finds.

If on Betula I'd say yes - it is known from Eastern USA: https://www.gbif.org/species/3535865

Myxocyclus polycistis est signalé, principalement, sur différentes espèces de Betula, mais aussi, en Ukraine, sur Morus alba L. (K. Pastircakova & M. Pastircak - 2010) et sur feuillus divers, sans autre précision, (M. Lecomte - Association des mycologues francophones de Belgique). Ellis & Ellis - 1987, p.100, n'indiquent pas d'espèces particulières "on dead twigs and branches".
