While searching for the folicolous lichen Phylloblastia spp. on juvienile Hedera helix leaves I came across an abundant anamorph occupying the similar habitat. I cannot find an anamorph listed for Aulographum hederae, which is what I thought it would be initially. However, the leaves are living, attached to the plant.
Abundant simple hyaline conidia were formed, measuring around 4-4.5 x 1.5-1.8.
Any ideas on the ID would be much appreciated. I assume it is probably something common.
Thanks,
George
